Important Notice – Catch Recording Update

We are aware of ongoing technical issues affecting the Record Your Catch app, which may cause the following issues for you:

  • Problems signing in to the app or accessing vessel lists
  • Catch records appearing with a status of ‘SENDING’ and not reaching the system
  • Submitted records not appearing in the list of trips
  • Inconsistent confirmation messages within the mobile application
  • Some users have received confirmation messages such as “Your catch record has been submitted” or “Your catch record has been recorded,” even when the record has not been successfully received. Please note that a catch record showing as ‘SENDING’ or not appearing in your trip list has not been delivered to the Marine Management Organisation (MMO).

You can check whether your catch records have been submitted by looking at trips listed on the “Home” page of your account within the web service (see images below). Records will be listed by departure date. Features such as adding preferences, editing trips and viewing previous trips are only available on the web service.
