The Origination and Client Coverage (OCC) Division is the international business development and client relationship arm of UKEF. It is primarily responsible for delivering new business opportunities in overseas markets suitable for UKEF financing and ensuring that the division contributes effectively to the department’s business objectives.

OCC have an international network of Country Heads who are representatives of UK Export Finance (UKEF), stationed at British Embassies and High Commissions worldwide. The division is the only part of UKEF with a global resource footprint, with the management team based in London HQ supported by the network of 23 Country Heads.

Forming a key part of OCC’s international business development activities, Country Heads are the first point of contact for various counterparties in-country. They are on hand to discuss financing options available from UKEF to support the exports of UK goods and/or services, providing unparalleled assistance with a global reach.
