Guidance: HM Coastguard offshore energy courses

Details of the offshore search and rescue courses for the energy industries, provided by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA).

The offshore search and rescue management courses are provided to the energy industries by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) in order for relevant personnel to be trained and made aware of the correct procedures and processes to be followed in search and rescue (SAR) situations and other emergencies.

These bespoke courses, one for oil and gas and one for renewables, are extremely valuable and attendance is highly recommended by the emergency services and past delegates.

It may be possible, for renewables, to organise a bespoke course at a company premises assuming personnel from other organisations are able to attend. For more information on this and to enquire on availability, please contact [email protected].
