This report aims to develop an understanding of the roles and requirements of the radiological and civil nuclear safety regulatory bodies within the radiopharmaceutical supply chain.

The study was written by the key regulators:

  • Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA)
  • Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA)
  • It was produced as part of the Medical Radionuclide Innovation Programme (MRIP) which concluded in March 2025.
