Technical guidance for nuclear entities on reporting requirements related to Nuclear Cooperation Agreements.

This joint DESNZ / ONR guidance covers reporting requirements for nuclear entities, to allow the UK to comply with Nuclear Cooperation Agreements and other obligations arising from international trade following the UK’s withdrawal from the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom).

The guidance covers a number of areas, including:

  • DESNZ and ONR expectations on operators relating to relevant provisions of the Nuclear Safeguards (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

    Guidance updated to include other Nuclear Cooperation Agreements agreed as a result of the UK exiting the EU, and language simplified.
