Places of worship or other faith community organisations can apply for protective security.

  • Faith Security Training (FST): free security awareness training for faith communities across England and Wales
  • Rapid protective security for places of worship

    The rapid protective security process is now closed for new requests.

    We check all applications to the Home Office’s protective schemes for faith communities to make sure organisations meet the standards required. This is known as due diligence.

    If your application is successful, we will carry out ongoing checks to make sure your organisation continues to meet these standards. You can read the standards in the protective security for faith communities code of conduct.
