Guidance: Online competence assessment dates

Assessment dates for the upcoming year will be listed on this page and updated if there are any changes.

The Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) is responsible for assessing the competence of immigration advisers. All assessments will be conducted online. Once an application for registration has been submitted to the IAA, candidates will receive full instructions on how to register and access their exams.

  • registration opens at 9:30am on the day of your assessment
  • you must begin your assessment between 9:30am and 10:00am

    • Additional level 2 and 3 assessment scheduled for 29 July 2026.

    Level 1 assessment date for February 2026 has been added.
