Notice to Traders 69/26 - Pigmeat Import Quota

This notice is to inform you of the pigmeat import quotas.

This notice is to inform you of the pigmeat import quotas. Details of the quotas and quantities available are shown in in Annex 1.

You may submit your application for a licence between 1 September 2026 and 5pm on 7 September 2026.

It is your responsibility to check that the application is correct at the time of submission.

We will reject any applications, securities or proof of trade received after 5pm on 7 September 2026.

We advise you to use the latest version of the application form.You can submit your applications by email to [email protected].

Proof of trade – order numbers 05.4038 and 05.4170

If this is your first application of the quota year you must provide evidence to show that you imported at least 25 tonnes of product from the pigmeat sector during each of the two periods:

Applications for order numbers 05.4038 and 05.4170 must be accompanied by a security of £20 per 100kgs.

If you are using another trader’s block guarantee you must make sure that your cross reference details are set up before you send us your application.

Note:  We will reject your application if the cross reference is not set up and you do not submit security in another format within the application period.

We will not accept any amendments to block guarantees after the application period has closed. This includes cross reference amendments.

Licences for order numbers 05.4038 and 05.4170 will be valid from 1 October 2026 until 30 June 2027.
