Key stage 2 tests: how to access results and test scripts

Imported from official source

Information for headteachers, teachers and local authorities about accessing 2026 test results, scaled score conversion tables, marked scripts and test papers.

The 2026 key stage 2 (KS2) test results will be available for schools to view and download on the ‘Key stage 2 test results and outcomes’ page within the ‘Dashboard’ on the National Curriculum Assessments Portal (NCA Portal) from 7:30am on Thursday 16 July.

We will also publish the raw score to scaled score conversion tables for the 2026 tests in our collection of past test materials at 9am on Thursday 16 July, to help schools understand how pupils’ scaled scores are derived from their raw scores.

On Thursday 16 July, we expect high demand for access to the NCA Portal, so:

  • we recommend you nominate one user within your organisation to view and download your test results
  • you may be held in a queue for a short time when signing in, and you will have real-time updates with estimates of your wait time until you have access – to assist with the queuing process, the system will collect your IP address but no other personal data
  • The results will be displayed in 2 different ways:

  • a summary page showing raw scores, scaled scores and test outcomes for all subjects for each pupil
  • a detailed results page providing the details for each subject, including pupils’ raw scores, scaled scores and test outcomes
  • Schools will be able to download their test results in the following formats:

  • common transfer file (CTF) containing all test results or all test results with teacher assessment data
  • comma-separated values (CSV) file containing all test results, all test results with teacher assessment data or test results for specific subjects
  • results letter containing all test results or test results for specific subjects
  • Local authorities and multi-academy trusts
