Transparency data: DWP official social media accounts
A list of official Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) social media accounts.
DWP uses social media channels to engage with citizens, partners and stakeholders and it forms part of our digital strategy.
The following changes have been made to the Jobcentre Plus X (Twitter) account listings: 'Scotland' changed to 'Scotland and North England', 'North-east England' changed to 'Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Humber', 'London and Essex' changed to 'London' and 'Wales' changed to 'Wales and The Marches'. @JCPinCumbria moved to 'Scotland and North England', @JCPinNTW and @JCPinDurhamTees moved to 'Scotland and North England' and @JCPinEssex moved to 'South-east England'. Account name changed from @JCPinHumber to @JCPinNorthYorks. Added @JCPinTheMarches under 'Wales and The Marches' and @JCPLincsHumber under 'Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Humber'.
Updated Central England JCP X account information.
Updated the South East twitter account links. Removed @JCPinSurrey and @JCPinSussex and added @JCPinSurreySussex.
Removed Twitter account '@JCPinCambs'. No longer in use.
Replaced @JCPinEastLondon, @JCPinNthLondon, @JCPinSthLondon, @JCPinWestLondon, @JCPinAirports with @JCPinLondon and removed the Other official accounts section.
Jobcentre Plus Twitter accounts for Scotland have merged into a new account - @JCPinScotland
The @dwppressoffice and @DWP Twitter accounts have been replaced by a single @DWPgovuk Twitter account.
Deleted JCPinNorfolk and JCPinSuffolk, and added @JCPInEastAnglia. Deleted JCPinStaffs and JCPinDerby, and added @JCPInStaffDerby. Deleted JCPinNotts and JCPinLincs, and added @JCPInLincsNotts. Also, deleted @jcpinheathrow as the account is no longer used.
Removed Twitter accounts for JCPinBeds, JCPinBucks and JCPinOxford as these accounts are now closed.
Removed Twitter accounts @JCPinBerkshire and @JCPinHerts. Added Twitter accounts @JCPBedsandHerts and @JCPThamesValley.
Removed @DWPOverseas Twitter account because it has closed.
