「現金」に計上しているのは、支払元貨幣（金融機関等の求めに応じて払い出される貨幣）である。

「金銭の信託（信託財産指数連動型上場投資信託）」とは、信託銀行を通じて買入れた指数連動型上場投資信託受益権などである。

「金銭の信託（信託財産不動産投資信託）」とは、信託銀行を通じて買入れた不動産投資法人投資口などである。

「外国為替」に計上しているのは、外国中央銀行、国際決済銀行等への預け金、外国政府等の発行する国債等、外貨投資信託および外貨貸付金（米ドル資金供給オペレーションによる貸付金等）である。

「代理店勘定」とは、国庫、国債事務の取扱いを委託した日本銀行の代理店に対する支払資金等の預け金などである。
