1 May 2026: On 30 April the CMA appointed the remedy group.

30 April 2026: The CMA gives notice of making the Final Order. On the making of this Order the reference is finally determined.

Notice of intention to make a final order

26 March 2026: The CMA gives notice of the intention to make a final order and is inviting comments by Monday 27 April 2026.

18 March 2026: The inquiry group has decided to extend by 6 weeks under section 41A(2) of the Act the period for the discharge of its duty under section 41(2) of the Act, as it considers that there are special reasons to do so. The revised period will therefore end on 20 May 2026.

15 January 2026: The CMA has published its final report.

Directions to appoint a monitoring trustee

4 December 2025: On 14 November 2025, pursuant to an initial enforcement order dated 25 March 2025, the CMA directed Aramark Investment Limited, Aramark Limited and Entier Limited to appoint a monitoring trustee.

11 November 2025: The invitation to comment on remedies sets out and consults on the actions which the CMA might take for the purpose of remedying the substantial lessening of competition and/or any resulting adverse effects provisionally identified in the interim report.

The deadline for submitting comments on possible remedies was 5pm on Tuesday 18 November 2025.

24 October 2025: The CMA has provisionally found competition concerns as part of its in-depth investigation of the completed acquisition by Aramark Limited of Entier Limited.

The deadline for submitting responses to the interim report was 5pm on Friday 14 November 2025.

5 August 2025: The CMA has appointed the following inquiry group:
