‘Relentless Expansion’ of Israeli Settlements Threatens Two-State Solution, Senior UN Official Warns Security Council, Citing E1 Plan
The relentless advance of the E1 settlement plan represents “an existential threat to the two-State solution”, the Security Council heard today, during the organ’s quarterly meeting on the implementation of resolution 2334 (2016), which calls on Israel to cease all settlement activity in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.
