Following its meeting concerning Haiti, the Council will convene to consider the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Anticipated briefers include James Swan, Head of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), as well as a representative of civil society. The Council will have before it the latest report from the Secretary-General on the Mission, which covers developments since 19 June 2026.
