De Autoriteit Financiële Markten heeft deze zomer een sterke toename gezien in het aantal vragen en signalen dat zij ontvangt over finfluencing en online beleggingscontent. Deze content kan, met of zonder opzet, leiden tot misinformatie, slechte beleggingen of zelfs oplichting. Daarom publiceert de AFM de ‘red flags’: concrete signalen die aanleiding kunnen zijn om extra kritisch naar online content te kijken. Want als een beleggingsverhaal te mooi lijkt om waar te zijn, dan is dat meestal ook zo.
