Data on the average speed, delay and reliability of travel times on the Strategic Road Network (SRN) and local 'A' roads, produced by Department for Transport.

Tables have been updated to included data to June 2026

Added tables for Great Britain, Scotland and Wales, and added data up to March 2026.

Data tables for Travel time measures for the Strategic Road Network and local ‘A’ roads: 2025 published.

Inclusion of data for January to March 2025

Data added to include information up to December 2024

All tables have been updated to include data to September 2025.

Data for April to June 2024 have been added, and revisions have been made to the series following agreements with suppliers to improve consistency going forward.

Data up to March 2024 has been added to all tables.

Data tables have been updated to include data up to December 2023. Over 2023 the congestion statistics processing was transferred to a new software enabling greater precision and accuracy in calculations and imputation of the production of statistical values. This has led to minor revisions for the whole Local 'A' CGN05 time series. A historical methodological error when transferring processing to a new software at the sub-national geography level affected the SRN data. This accounts for the minor revisions in the CGN04 tables b-e.

The latest data for October 2023 through September 2023 have been added to the data tables.
