High-Level MENAFATF Delegation visits Damascus  follow the Syrian Arab Republic’s Preparations for the Mutual Evaluation Process

A high-level delegation from the MENAFATF, headed by H.E. Hamid Saif Al Zaabi, MENAFATF President of, and included H.E. Suliman Aljabrin,  MENAFATF Executive Secretary, and Co-Chairs MENAFATF Mutual Evaluation Working Group, went on an official visit to the Syrian capital Damascus yesterday July 23 to  support the Syrian Arab Republic’s  preparations for the Mutual Evaluation process and enhance the effectiveness of its national framework for combating money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing. A high-level meeting was held during the visit today with senior officials of the Syrian Arab Republic, with the participation of H.E.
