El Hishri case: Trial to open on 4 May 2027

On 14 September 2026, Trial Chamber VII of the International Criminal Court (ICC) scheduled the opening of the trial in the case of The Prosecutor v. Khaled Mohamed Ali El Hishri for 4 May 2027.This date was set by the Chamber following a Status Conference on the matter as well as in view of the respective submissions by the Prosecution, the Defence and the Legal Representatives of Victims, as well as considering the necessary time for the disclosure of evidence and other materials.
