Suplusvee kvaliteet oli hooaja jooksul üldiselt hea ning enamikus supluskohtades probleeme ei esinenud. Eesti suplusvee kvaliteeti mõjutavad enim sinivetikad ning Escherichia coli bakterite ja enterokokkide sisaldus vees. Nende esinemine veekogus on tihedalt seotud muutlike ilmastikuolude ning konkreetse veekogu eripära ja asukohaga.
