Fixed customs duty for low-value consignments from third countries to take effect in one month

In one month, on 1 July, a fixed customs duty will be introduced for all low-value consignments ordered directly from third countries with a value not exceeding €150. The €3 customs duty established by the European Commission will apply to each goods item declared on the customs declaration. By 1 November at the latest, a customs handling fee will also be introduced for low-value consignments arriving from third countries.
