Tänasest on avalikul väljapanekul Harju maavarade teemaplaneering, mis määratleb riigi jaoks olulised alad maakonnas, kus leidub ehituseks vajalikku lubjakivi ja liiva. Planeering seab kindlad tingimused, mille alusel tulevikus alasid kasutusele võtta saab.
