Mr. Suleman Salifu welcoming the delegation at the NCA Tower

Welcoming the delegation, Mr. Salifu highlighted the NCA’s mandate to regulate Ghana’s communications sector in a manner that promotes fairness, competition, innovation, service quality and consumer protection. He noted that as Ghana’s digital agenda continues to evolve, the Authority remains focused on ensuring that communications services are delivered in a secure, reliable and efficient manner.

He stated that the NCA’s responsibility is not only to create the right regulatory environment for investment and innovation, but also to ensure that consumers and businesses benefit meaningfully from the services deployed by licensed operators. The courtesy call provided an opportunity for discussions on a number of areas, including 5G deployment, Quality of Service (QoS), cybersecurity, network resilience, sustainable energy solutions and enterprise connectivity for critical sectors such as oil and gas, mining and ports.
