Op 23 juli 2026 nam de Europese Unie (EU) een nieuw sanctiepakket aan tegen Rusland. De sancties zijn onder andere gericht tegen Russische olie-inkomsten, de schaduwvloot en banken en bedrijven betrokken bij sanctie-omzeiling.
