Norway contributes NOK 780 million to the fight against climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution
Norway is contributing NOK 780 million over four years to the world’s largest environmental fund, the Global Environment Facility (GEF). GEF provides support to developing countries in their efforts to address climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution, while also contributing to development and poverty reduction. This represents an effective use of Norway’s development assistance.
