Norway and France sign mutual defence arrangement
Today, Norway and France have signed a comprehensive defence arrangement under which the two countries commit to come to each other’s aid should the need arise. Together with nine other European countries, Norway will also participate in a process to determine how France’s nuclear weapons can contribute to security and deterrence in Europe.
