I sociala medier kan pojkar och unga män exponeras för idéer och påståenden om bland annat våld och misogyni. Dessa idéer kan påverka deras psykiska hälsa, värderingar och livsval. Därför ger regeringen Jämställdhetsmyndigheten i uppdrag att undersöka hur pojkar och unga män påverkas av användning av sociala medier ur ett jämställdhetsperspektiv.
