Från och med den 1 juli 2026 ansvarar Kriminalvården för utbildningen av barn som avtjänar fängelsestraff. För att skapa tydligare förutsättningar för verksamheten har regeringen beslutat om lagrådsremissen Ett tydligare regelverk för barns och ungas utbildning i kriminalvårdsanstalt.
