Minister Multala to visit Germany to discuss hydrogen economy and energy security

On 5 October, Minister Multala will open the German-Finnish Hydrogen Dialogue, which aims to strengthen cooperation between Finland and Germany on new hydrogen projects, investments and business collaboration. The event will be attended by policy-makers, companies, research organisations and clusters from both countries. “Finland and Germany have different strengths that complement each other within the European hydrogen economy. Finland boasts good availability of clean electricity and a competitive environment for production, while Germany offers top technological skills and industrial demand for the hydrogen market. Together we can build a hydrogen value chain that is genuinely European,” says Minister of Climate and the Environment Sari Multala. She will attend the annual Deutsch-Finnisches Businessforum, which this year will be held in Munich on 6 October.
