Belgian economic activity expected to stagnate in Q2 2026

According to the latest NBB Business Cycle Monitor, the Belgian economy is slowing down. The NBB’s nowcasting models currently predict second-quarter growth in the range of -0.1% to 0.2%, with the most plausible estimate being around zero. The balance of risks appears broadly neutral.
