Taiwan FDA holds the “2025 APEC Conference on the Analytical Techniques for Cosmetics”to promote the cosmetic analytical techniques and strengthen international cooperation

To promote international exchange and collaboration in cosmetic analytical techniques, the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA), Ministry of Health and Welfare, holds the 2025 APEC Conference on the Analytical Techniques for Cosmetics on October 22, 2025, at the GIS MOTC Convention Center in Taipei. The formally endorsed conference is supported by the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). The conference is held in a hybrid format, combining both physical and virtual formats. A total of six cosmetic analysis experts from Canada, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and Taiwan are invited to share the current cosmetic analytical techniques and its future trend. Over 150 domestic and international personnel from industry, government, and academia attend and fully participate in the conference. The conference focuses on a range of topics, including substances of emerging concern, monitoring of persistent organic pollutants, green chemistry analytical techniques, and cosmetic regulations.
