To ensure the safety and quality of medicinal products, Taiwan has fully implemented the international PIC/S GMP standards, and the pharmaceutical manufacturers could apply for GMP certificates from the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) after inspection and found in compliance with PIC/S GMP.As technology advances and markets globalize, TFDA is committed to digital transformation, aligning with international digital trends. Start-ing from July 31, 2024 beside hard copy, the TFDA also began issu-ing digital GMP certificates, which include a digital signature.
