Kazakhstan and Afghanistan Discussed the Development of Bilateral, Regional, and Multilateral Cooperation

Meetings were held in Kabul between the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Afghanistan, Erkin Tukumov, with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, Mohammad Naim, and representatives of the Afghanistan Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AWCCI). During the meeting with M. Naim, the parties exchanged views on the outcomes of the Kazakhstani delegation's visit to Herat, noting the warm welcome and the constructive nature of the negotiations held. E. Tukumov emphasized that the visit to Herat was a continuation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serik Zhumangarin, to Afghanistan on June 20-21 of this year. The Kazakhstani side noted an interest in further developing cooperation with Afghanistan in partnership with Central Asian states for the construction of transit corridors, as well as trade with South Asian countries.
