Kazakh Automakers to Supply $30 Million Worth of Commercial Vehicles to Belarus
A meeting of the Kazakhstan-Belarus Business Council was held on the sidelines of the Innoprom. Belarus forum. With the support of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC QazTrade Trade Policy Development Centre, Kazakh companies reached agreements with Belarusian partners to expand supplies of Kazakh products. One of the key outcomes was an agreement on the supply of commercial vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan. Kazakh company Hyundai Trans Auto LLP and Belarusian company RCM LLC have agreed to work on the supply of 790 vehicles in 2027–2028, with a total value of at least USD 30 million. The confirmed export potential of Kazakh automakers in the Belarusian market is estimated at up to 4,500 vehicles per year. Another agreement provides for expanding supplies of products manufactured by Kazakh companies to the Belarusian market. As part of the existing mechanism for promoting Kazakh products, a pool of suppliers has been formed, with projected annual supplies of up to 20 trucks.
