Introduction of labeling and traceability of alcoholic beverages

   The State Revenue Committee held a meeting on the introduction of marking and traceability of alcoholic beverages using means of identification.    The meeting was attended by representatives of the QazSpirits and KazAlcoTabak industry associations, as well as producers and importers of alcoholic beverages.    Participants were presented with the key approaches and stages for introducing the marking system, as well as the planned technical solutions. The discussion covered the readiness of market participants and information systems, ensuring product traceability at all stages of circulation, and the practical application of the new requirements to the production, import and circulation of alcoholic beverages.    Business representatives presented proposals and raised practical issues, taking into account the specifics of existing industry processes.    Following the meeting, it was decided to continue work on introducing marking and traceability in cooperation with market participants. The main focus will be on ensuring technical readiness, the practical feasibility of the requirements, and their phased implementation.
