Lumpy-Skin-Krankheit: Ende der Impfung am 30. September und erhöhte Wachsamkeit während acht Monaten

Bern, 24.09.2026 — Die obligatorische Impfkampagne gegen die Lumpy-Skin-Krankheit (Lumpy Skin Disease, LSD) bei Rindern endet am 30. September 2026 im Kanton Genf und in den Impfzonen der Kantone Waadt und Wallis. Am 1. Oktober 2026 beginnt eine achtmonatige Wartezeit. Während dieser Zeit achten die kantonalen Veterinärdienste unter der Koordination des Bundesamts für Lebensmittelsicherheit und Veterinärwesen (BLV) verstärkt auf Anzeichen, die auf LSD hindeuten könnten. Für den Tierverkehr gelten während der Wartezeit weiterhin besondere Regeln. Wenn die Ergebnisse der Überwachung und die Entwicklung der Seuchenlage in Europa günstig bleiben, kann die Schweiz den Status «LSD-frei» frühestens am 1. Juni 2027 wiedererlangen.
