Mobilfunkfrequenzen für 5G in der Schweiz vergeben
Die Eidgenössische Kommunikationskommission (ComCom) hat die Vergabe von neuen Mobilfunkfrequenzen erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Alle drei bisherigen Betreiberinnen Salt, Sunrise und Swisscom konnten im Rahmen einer Auktion eine breite Palette an neuen Frequenzen erwerben. Diese sind die Voraussetzung für die Entwicklung der schnellen Mobilfunktechnologie 5G. Die Auktionseinnahmen für den Bund belaufen sich auf rund 380 Millionen Franken. Die Auktion dauerte vom 29. Januar 2019 bis zum 7. Februar 2019.
