Media are invited to the opening of the Canadian Coast Guard’s new search and rescue station in Port Weller, Ontario.
Where: 4 Welland Canals Parkway,
St. Catharines, ON L2M 1A1
(on the west pier of Port Weller Harbour)
What: Photo opportunities and a tour of the station and vessel will take place after the official opening.
Media are required to register in advance. Please register by sending your name and outlet to the Department of National Defence’s Media Relations: [email protected]. The deadline to register is June 10, 12 p.m. EDT.
Parking is available to the north of the main building.
