21. ágúst síðastliðinn auglýsti ráðuneytið laus til umsóknar tvö embætti dómara við Landsrétt.

Annars vegar er þetta skipun í embætti dómara við Landsrétt sem skipað verður í hið fyrsta eftir að dómefnd um hæfni umsækjenda um embætti dómara skilar umsögn sinni til ráðherra.

Hins vegar er þetta setning í embætti dómara við Landsrétt. Sett verður í það embætti hið fyrsta eftir að dómnefnd skilar ráðherra umsögn sinni, til og með 28. febrúar 2029.

Síðasti dagur umsóknarfrests var 7. september 2026.
