De Nederlandse Voedsel- en Warenautoriteit (NVWA) past het digitale formulier voor meldingen over levensmiddelen en diervoeders aan. Hierdoor wordt het voor bedrijven eenvoudiger om een melding te maken. Eén van de belangrijkste wijzigingen is dat het formulier zo is ingericht, dat bedrijven alleen informatie hoeven in te vullen die relevant is voor hun specifieke melding. De wijzigingen in het meldformulier zijn aangebracht in overleg met het bedrijfsleven.
