Notice: Shiplake Lock Repair Works October 2026: river closure notice
Shiplake Lock will be closed to navigation to enable engineers to undertake essential repair works to the hydraulics.
No passage through the lock will be possible at any time whilst works are ongoing.
Works will be dependent on the current river conditions.
We will update River Thames: restrictions and closures when further information becomes available.
