National Budget 2027: Supporting new, ambitious waiting-time targets for hospitals

The government is proposing a total allocation of NOK 250 billion for hospitals in 2027. This represents an increase of NOK 3.1 billion, in addition to adjustments for wage and price growth and other factors. The budget takes account of changing needs arising from a growing and ageing population, and will support further reductions in waiting times.
