令和8年産の水田における作付状況について
農林水産省は、令和8年産の水田における作付状況(令和8年9月15日時点)を取りまとめましたので、お知らせします。
1.令和8年産の主食用米、備蓄米及び戦略作物等の作付状況（令和8年9月15日時点）
令和8年産の水田における作付状況は、飼料用米や麦、大豆等の作付面積が減少し、主食用米の作付面積は、近年において最も高い作付水準であった令和7年産(※)並みとなりました。
(※)令和7年産は備蓄米の作付けはゼロ。
これに伴い、飼料用米や麦、大豆等は、近年において、極めて少ない作付面積となり、加えて、加工用米、新市場開拓用米及び米粉用米の作付面積も令和7年産から微増にとどまるなど、非主食用米等の作付水準は低い状況となっています。
