Michal at Meeting with Rutte: Estonia to Support Ukraine with €10 Million Through NATO’s PURL Initiative

Stenbock House, 14 October 2026 – Prime Minister Kristen Michal stressed at a meeting today with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, who is visiting Estonia, that NATO’s unity and strength are vital. Increased defence spending by European allies and Canada must translate more quickly into real defence capabilities, and support for Ukraine must be increased. Estonia will provide an additional €10 million in support for Ukraine through NATO’s PURL initiative.
