Imported from official source

Announcement

The European Commission welcomes the positive opinion given today by the Member States on the EU4Health Work Programme for 2026, which will support the implementation of EU priorities in the area of public health such as the Safe Hearts Plan, Critical Medicines Act and the European Health Data Space.

With a budget of EUR 680 million, the Commission will financially support EU health priorities across five main strands:

The programme provides funding to national authorities, health organisations, NGOs and other bodies through grants and public procurement, contributing to a healthier Europe.

HaDEA manages the vast majority of the EU4Health budget and implements the programme by managing calls for proposals and tenders.

The Commission will now proceed with the adoption of the Work Programme and its implementation will begin shortly after.
