Pan Pepin Inc. of Bayamón, Puerto Rico is recalling certain lots of Para Bien Al Grano because the product contain sesame.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame may risk a serious or life- threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The product was distributed throughout Puerto Rico.

The recall involves the following product lots:

Consumers with a sesame allergy who have purchased the affected products should not consume them.

  • Not consume the products if they have a sesame allergy or sensitivity.
  • Return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
  • Dispose of the products if returning them is not possible.
  • Contact the company for additional information regarding the recall.

    • "At Pan Pepin Inc, consumer safety and transparency are our top priorities. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this recall may cause. We are taking immediate action to remove affected products from the market and strengthen our labeling and allergen verification procedures to prevent similar incidents in the future."
