Digital supporters's appointment ceremony was held in collaboration with the Japanese Pharmaceutical Association, the Japanese Association of Health Insurance Pharmacies, and the Japanese Association of Chain Drug Stores.

On June 27, 2024, a ceremony was held in Digital Agency to present letters of appointment from digital supporters to representatives of the Japanese Pharmaceutical Association, the Japanese Association of Health Insurance Pharmacies, and the Japanese Association of Chain Drug Stores, as well as pharmacists who actually work on the front lines of pharmacies and other medical institutions.

This time, in cooperation with pharmacists and pharmacy-related organizations, about 10,000 pharmacists and administrative staff have been newly appointed as digital supporters.
The JCQHC will also work with pharmacists and administrative staff to create environments in which the general public can consult more closely about use of My Number Card as a Health Insurance Certificate and registration.

Representatives of each organization commented, "Pharmacists on the front line fully understand the need and significance of utilizing My Number Card as a Health Insurance Certificate, which is the foundation of the Healthcare DX. By actively calling out to patients, we hope to create environments in which patients can use pharmacies with greater peace of mind than ever before," and "By increasing the use of My Number Card as a Health Insurance Certificate, in addition to improving convenience for citizens, we hope to make pharmacies a place that is even more helpful to citizens by improving the efficiency of pharmacy operations."
