An event to experience My Number Card and My Number Card as a Health Insurance Certificate was held at a commercial facility in Koto Ward

Over two days, Saturday, February 17, and Sunday, February 18, 2024, we held an event to experience My Number Card at Ario Kitasuna, a shopping mall in Koto Ward, Tokyo Prefecture. More than 150 people from a wide range of generations participated in the event.

In My Number Card, the scenes where it can be used in daily life are expanding, and we plan to hold events at commercial facilities and local governments nationwide with the theme of "It is possible. It is increasing. My Number Card." Please feel free to stop by.

At this year's event, participants were given the chance to try out the My Number Card as a Health Insurance Certificate reader (a card reader with facial recognition), and a consultation booth was set up by digital supporters. A quiz on My Number Card was also conducted, and participants received novelty goods (mini towels, sun visors, and masks) with illustrations of Myna-chan, the PR character for My Number.

Participants used My Number Card scanning devices (card readers with facial recognition) installed at medical institutions to experience operations related to identity verification and consent to information provision using facial recognition.

The "Things you can do in My Number Card Quiz" gave visitors a chance to learn about actual situations in which smartphones are used.

We set up a consultation corner on My Number Card, and explained how to use My Number Card and how safe it is.
