    • From December 2, 2024, the health insurance card system will shift to one based on My Number Card as a Health Insurance Certificate. For this reason, Digital Agency will conduct a campaign to introduce "How to Receive Medical Treatment from Now" at pharmacies, which will introduce how to receive medical treatment with My Number Card as a Health Insurance Certificate and eligibility confirmation documents at drugstores with dispensing pharmacies and dispensing pharmacies nationwide.

    Introduction of "How to receive medical care from now on" at pharmacies

    In this campaign, we will convey information that we want people to know more about, along with the advantages of My Number Card as a Health Insurance Certificate, focusing on the following points.

  • A card reader with facial recognition at nearby drugstores with dispensing pharmacies and dispensing pharmacies nationwide, allowing users to register for the use of My Number Card as a health insurance card with peace of mind while receiving the support of pharmacists and store clerks.
  • Be able to continue using your current health insurance card for up to one year
  • If a person does not have a My Number Card as a Health Insurance Certificate, the insurer will issue an eligibility confirmation letter, regardless of whether an application has been made.
  • Even if you couldn't check in at the My Number Card as a Health Insurance Certificate, you can bring the My Number Card when you see a doctor, so you don't have to pay one hundred percent of the medical expenses.
