11th Circuit Affirms Conviction, 30-Year Sentence in Cold Case Prosecution of 2001 Murder of Pregnant Army Private in Germany

Pensacola, Florida – The United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit affirmed the conviction and sentence of Shannon L. Wilkerson, 46, for the 2001 murder of 19-year-old Army Private First Class Amanda Gonzales and her unborn child.
