The Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) will receive close to $121 million over four years to help build long-term capacity and advance First Nations led, culturally informed policing in the communities they serve. This funding supports a series of priority initiatives, including the establishment of a dedicated training academy, and the expansion of MFNPS services to the Fisher River Cree Nation and the Gambler First Nation.
